Responsible Choices at Mahéquline
At Mahéquline, we strive to make more responsible choices in our production and shipping processes. As a small business we are gradually implementing solutions to reduce our environmental impact – without compromising the quality of our products.
Reusable Canvas Bags for Shipping
Our shipments come in practical canvas bags with zippers which can be used over and over again. This means that when you receive your items you also get a bag you can use for storage – for example as a makeup bag or for packing underwear on your travels. It's a simple way to reduce single-use plastic and encourage reuse.

Mahéquline's Current Fiber Usage
Mahéquline takes a sustainable approach to production by exclusively using deadstock fabrics sourced from supplier surplus. This means the company reuses materials that would otherwise go to waste, reducing their environmental impact.
The company’s fiber usage consists of the following materials:
- 7% spandex, providing elasticity and comfort to their garments.
- 16% nylon, which adds strength and durability.
- 14% organic cotton, an eco-friendly choice that ensures a natural and breathable fabric while minimizing environmental footprint.
- 63% polyester, contributing to durability, wrinkle resistance, and faster drying times.
By focusing on deadstock fabrics, Mahéquline helps reduce waste and makes responsible use of existing resources, supporting their commitment to a more circular fashion industry.
